Easyier way to find Friends?

Hey I was thinking while I was in HA today that it would be a great idea if there was a way to see your friends easier to pick them out of a crowd. Ya I know you can copy & paste from Pm, but still I think it would be cool. Maybe something that highlights the name as the name is a different color for people in you alliance/guild. I just think this would be a cool addition and I think it would really help.

this is kind of nice to have, like when you hold down alt or control key, and you can see your guilds tag in a different color. go ahead if its not too hard to code. add an assign color to the N (friends list) maybe.

Nothing more annoying than typing however many messages back and forth to try to find someone.

Note: You know the most effective way I find is coming to the last id then tab tab. Finding a friend isn't a hard way! Beside pull your friend joining your guild. It helps too!

But, on topic. I had pondered this long ago and agree with the idea.

Yup. I always say this:

- Guildies: Gold [Tag].
- Allies: Silver [Tag].
- Friends: Copper [Tag]
- Friends without [Tag]: Copper [Friend] tag after the name.

It would be greater that way.

You know, I suggested this several months ago in this forum and got flamed to death with "quit being lazy and type their name, idiot!" replies.

seems like a good idea. /signed all the way. perhaps something like, whoever your whisper target is, is highlighted in gold (their character name when holding alt), would remove the senseless "adding to groups" thing in major cities.

I like this idea.


However for some reason, when I saw the title I thought this was going to be something about putting a LFF (looking for friend) tag in the party search bar.

It'll be nice if this idea extended to the dots on the radar in some fashion as well.

Sorry I did a search under the board and didn't find anything. Although it wasn't a super extensive search. But eh I think it is a good enough thing to bring up more than once.

Even if all they did was have their Guild tag be gold like the Alliance or Guild members it would be pretty handy.

probably would need to consider permissions etc, since this could allow some people to be somewhat annoying when they can easily find you
