sheild info

hello,

guild wiki says that the highest armor a shield can have with no req is 10, and i was just wondering where and what types of shields these would be in they exist, also, is it possible for shields like these to have inscriptions?

I do believe the highest is actually 8, not 10. Those would be the Peppermint, Wintergreen, and Gingerbread. Only Wintergreen can have inscriptions.

The requirement, which linked to an attribute is either strength/tactics/command/motivation, and usually 9, for a collector/green/max version.

he means highest without a req, not highest in general. read please.

Highest is eight and inscribable ones drop (I got one today, standard skin, good for a caster), they're probably just kind of rare.

It is also pointless to get one as max al shield will give you 8 armor if you don't meet req anyway.

7 used to be possible.
But 8 is what you can get now.
Not sure if the req7 max'd ones come with inscrips though.

Exactly, I was just surprised to get a req'less one. Besides, most of the nicer skins are easily available at max AL.

i'd like to have a gold no req shield with armor 8-10, inscriptable if possible, ^_^

Never seen a no-req AL 10 Shield, but I have a no-req inscribable AL8 Skeleton Shield^^

I know that you can get 8 armor from a 16 armor shield, guild wiki just said that armor 10 shields with no req existed, i have never heard of them so i wondered if anyone have heard of them

There used to be a green with no req and 10 armor, but it later got changed to 8 armor and +20 health. It was the only no-req 10AL shield. The max AL without a req is 8.

Also the candy cane.gingerbread and wintergreens used to be 10al till they where changed alongside hassin's.
