In case you can't tell (probably because you don't use it, but then again, neither do I), he's already got Texmod. That's why his map looks like that.

7: Get to Vizunah Local.
8: Dunno, have the same thing.
9: Enter Sunjiang District from the south (Pongmei) and keep hugging left till you get to the res shrine and hug around there.
5: Hug around the spots/walls.
6: Explore Boreas Seabed OUTPOST.
4: Exit from Leviathan Pits into Boreas and go to the area. The gate to the jade "area" like thingy will be open.
1: Exit from Lutgardis into Ferndale and go around.
2: Exit Unwaking into Morostav and hug the wall.
3: Enter Unwaking mission and hug the wall there. I think you can get there from explorable too.

@ Rest: i got most of the same problems, any possibility it was just a "mess up" with the Texmod for the Canthan map? (i'm using the same texmod). I completed 100% Elona with the same texmod without problem, so idk.
ADDED: I also find taking it slow, and holding myself in a particular spot (pointed at fog) for 3 seconds or so will help "eliminate" that spot of fog. It could just be because of lag, and when passing buy you do not pick-it-up or somthing.
