*rest of build , DS FGJ etc etc*

Ive been wanting a change of pace in terms of the frenzy/rush IAS, and decided to give berserker stance a happy go. It also allows me to cripple someone without using up my elite. Knee cutter is a new skill, but it has its uses, its kind of a steady stance non-elite in a way

2 skills for a snare, a bit much imo

Cripslash would be better if you plan to use knee cutter.

And beserker stance is bad. If you have frenzy and FGJ, you don't need it.

If you run Berzerker Stance you cant spam Dslash, once you use a skill you lose your IAS.

Berzerker is a nice set up for an axe spike or hammer chain but not really that usefull for a Dslash build.

Knee cutter really seams a waste of a skill, its a shame they could have made it much better with a small tweek. ie. if you hit a crippled foe he is knocked down and you gain 1-4 strikes of adren. Energy gain on a sword build seams pointless to me.

I submit that Berserker is just bad.

True, but most axe spikes only require 1-2 skills rather than a chain.

As for hammer chain the first hit is a knockdown so IAS shouldnt matter since the foe wont be getting up ever again

As for hammer chain the first hit is a knockdown so IAS shouldnt matter since the foe wont be getting up ever again [PvP]Judging from your post, it would seem you don't know what a "spike" entails.

Spiking is a compression of a high amount of damage so that the opposition defense and healing mechanisms cannot react quickly enough to save the target. The primary use of an IAS in this situation would be to accelerate the attacks, hence accelerating the process of killing, hence drastically reducing the chance of the opposition's defense acting on the target before he's/she's killed.

Hence, the proposition that an Axe spike doesn't need an IAS because it only entails 2 skills, and that a Hammer spike doesn't need an IAS because it knocks down, is idiocy.[/PvP]

(In case you weren't referring to PvP) Outside of a PvP context, why the hell are we discussing 'spikes'?

Well I usually carry Bstance for building adrenaline and then I use frenzy or sometimes flail once the kdchain starts. It might work decently without an IAS at all during the spike, don't think so though.
