Locked Chests [HARD MODE] question!!

Is is possible to find locked chests in Old Ascalon also? I've tried looking around sardelac sanitarium and other places but haven't found any Can anyone spare me aknowledge where to find good spots for Locked Chests in hard mode? They say the locations for locked chests are "RANDOM", but when you play more you see it's not THAT random...

Uh yeah they spawn anywhere in HM.

Some of the best places differ...if you're going for any easy chest hunter/lucky title go southern shiverpeaks outside droks( southside nearest port sledge) Or if you want drops go to FoW.

I've found a few in Old Ascalon from outside sardelac I'm sure there are more around but I just stick very close to sardelac and off the hulking stones, best thing I've got out of them though was a sword with a +30hp mod

now, my first two runs out of sardelac the boss dropped an elite warrior tome and a scroll to the UW

Hate you I vanquished that area last night and from I only got "collectables" from the bosses Meh. A killing I will go, a killing I will go...

HM Locked Chests in Old Ascalon (and Shing Jea/Istan alike) are relatively sparse for some reason.

Chests are not randomly plotted on the landscape but have some possible spawn points. Some chest runs are more predictable that others. You are also more likely to find chests in amongst a mob who seem to be guarding that chest with their lives.

Spawn points are almost always in a nice sized mob of red dots as well. You will hardly ever find a chest just sitting out by itself.

If you do, and it's the desert, it's a trap.

If you have EOTN finished go to Doomlore Shrine and join a group doing the Cathedral Of Flames in HM or a duo running team.. There are chests galore and if you get the run you don't even need to do any fighting.
