I keep trying to do damage with this skill but it's not working for me for some reason. When monsters are adjacent to me or to a target party member and I cast it on them the monsters don't take any damage..

Can someone please tell me how exactly this works I'm new to rit.

The damage shows up for who you cast it on, not the caster.

It does work, you just don't see the damage.

The person, or thing, you cast the skill on gets to watch the damage.

Cast it on yourself and you will see the damage, cast it on an ally and that ally will see the damage.

EDIT: ibreaktoilets beat me to it, can't beat kittenpower

More of a mechanics change than 'nerf', to stop retarded spikes from Rage stacking.
Rage in its current form is, without a doubt, one of the strongest DD spells in the game. A 5e, 1/4 c Skill that deals 100+ damage to the targets that need to be hit (i.e. what your physicals are killing) is a very scary skill indeed.

Also the damage also takes in the level of whatever you cast it on. Casting a 14 spec Ancestor's on a lvl 26 Fleshie does a lot more than casting it on a lvl 18 Bone Field
