55 Monk

Can anyone tell me what the benefit of the grim cesta is for a 55 Monk? If I am not correct the best it will give you is +15 Energy (not possible for me since I need 5 Blood Magic and I am a Mo/E for the first 6), and -50 Health. I have a healing Ankh that gives me +21 Energy, and +30 Health. The only downside I see in it is I get -1 Energy regen. Would the Healing Ankh not be a better option?

Not if you are trying to 55. The reason you have the Grim Cesta is to get your health DOWN to 55. Without it you are at 105. You want as low of health as you can get. That way when they hit you and you have PS up it only does 5 damage. Easy to recover from with Healing Breeze up. But you want low health. With that healing ankh you then have 135 health, you don't want that. -50 Grim Cesta>>+30 Healing Ankh for 55's.

The -50 health will get you to 55 health, which makes protective spirit and health regeneration like healing breeze more effective.

the point of the grim cesta is to LOWER your hp not for the energy on it. the 55 in the name means that you have 55 hp.

Yeah, I've been looking at those. Unfortunately I am limited right now as I only have Prophecies. Watching for a good deal on the others.
