Wiki says... "The exact damage of a critical hit is based on a simple formula: The weapon's maximum damage multiplied by the square root of 2 (1.414...). "

I'm not sure what maximum damage means...

If you land a critical hit would it also multiply the affects of... weapon mods with +20% customized, 15% >50 heath, or skills that give +X% damage for X # of seconds.

Also, would it affect bonus damage from skills?

I'm guessing its like this
you have 15^50 if you meet the req (still above 50%)
add 20%
so totals to 35% of the MAX dmg of your weapon add both those, then add your skill dmg - This is not reduced.

then use the formula with everything, but remember not to multiple the skil dmg XD

Whatever is the maximum damage for a weapon, such as 28 for an axe.

Yes; they all multiply together.

No.

So a sword crit with +15% & customized (+20%) would deal:

22 * 1.15 * 1.20 * 1.41 = 42.8

43 damage to a lvl 20 with 60 armor?

swords have a low maximum damage.
and then you get to add bonus attack damage on top of that, its not to shabby.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I was also under the assumption that criticals are independant of an attack skill use? Ergo, you only get crits on standard attacks?

Sorry if I am wrong, I never really paid that close of attention, so this is an extra question from me .

Nope, you can crit anytime. Auto attacks or attack skills, doesn't matter one bit.

Really? Even if the sword was lower than req 12? I could've sworn you were eligible for the weapon's damage range when you met its requirement. 12 in swordsmanship would make your sword attack skills do more damage, but would having lower than 12 in swordsmanship affect how the damage of criticals is calculated?

Req has nothing to do with Damage you just have to MEET the requirement of the sword.

Lower Attribute would net you less critical hits. And less damage
