****Question in Title****
Ty in advance.
How would Aura of Lich + Protective Spirit combine?

Your max health is reduced by half, and PS reduces damage to a maximum of 10% of that health.
So as expected.

Oh cool thanks thats so helpful.
For 15...39 seconds, your maximum Health is reduced by half, but you take half damage from all sources. When Aura of the Lich ends, you're healed for 50...202 Health.

A similar situation to what you described is the basis for "55 builds" - through a combination of superior runes & specific items, which subtract from your HP, your total amount of HP is drastically reduced, so protective spirit reduces the maximum damage you can take to only 5 at a time, which can be easily recovered via healing spells...

I think OP is wanting to know which spell applies first. For example, if a 55 used AotL, would he take 5 damage or only 2.5 per hit? I don't know offhand; I've never tried.

AotL lowers your health, for example from 400 to 200. Prot Spirit will reduce damage to 20. What's not to understand?

That is the point of contention.

Holy shit thank you i swear some people just troll for any +1 and if not dont read at all.
Aura of lich wouldnt be that great of an elite if it JUST lowered you max health by half /sarcasm the important part is you take damage from half sources.
So half the damage + 10% max hp loss
So would it be half the damage of the 10% hit?????

Aura of the Lich triggers before Protective Spirit, not the other way around. So all damage is reduced by 1/2 from AotL, then PS checks if that damage is more than 10% of your max health. If it is, then PS will trigger to reduce it to 10%. AotL will only be effective at reducing damage that is lower than 10% of max HP if you combine with PS. I'm leaving out the reduction in max HP from AotL because it looks like you're not asking about that part. This is fairly simple to test for yourself, unless you don't have AotL.
