I recently joined a guild, and it's home is Europe. I was wondering if that matters since I play on U.S. servers. I read on wiki somewhere that not playing on your home sever will cause lag. So, should I leave the Guild? Or does this not really matter? Thanks.

If you like the guild stay with it. You can always team up in International Districts.

It doesn't matter. The only place where you use the server of your guild is when you're in the Guild Hall.

What server do you use when you are in GvG battles then?

yea, hes talking about hanging out with guildies, and having to go to english districts. in my opinion, it doesnt really make much of a difference, but i also have a good computer, and don't lag. (as much :P)

if you think that not rubberbanding all the time is better than stayin with your guildies then you can always look for new opportunities, and new friendships

I get equal ping in all districts, but I'm Australian so we don't have our own servers to begin with. That said though, I never get much lag or rubber banding. The only time I do is when i'm also downloading music at the same time, which is to be expected. Honestly, the difference in Ping is minimal if noticeable at all. If this were an FPS that would be a different story, but you don't need crazy awesome ping to play GW well as long as you don't get annoying graphics lag, which if you have a half decent computer you won't get.

Tyvm everyone who responded. So it basically doesn't matter where the guild home is then? Can I get someone else's opinion on this?
