130 Nerfed?

In their most recent update Anet has capped the Health Regen for Mystic Regeneration at 3 enchants. This means that at 12 Earth Prayers or fewer, you have a max of 9 pips of regen. You have to bump up to 13EP and still you only get 12 pips. There have been times when I've been burning, poisoned, and bleeding (while farming behemoths in Vabbi) at the same time and didn't have to worry because MR kept my regen so high that I still had at least 1 or 2 pips of regen. With the update, these 3 conditions deal 14 pips of degen which effectively means that even with EP 13 you would still have degen. I haven't been in game to test this out yet but if someone else has, could you let me know if the 130 is officially dead?

Imo, 5+ enchantment builds are unnecessary. You only really need 2 enchantments, one being an IAS and the other being Mystic Regen if you want, for PvP, and 3 for PvE, and that extra is Eternal Aura if you're running an Avatar. I bet the 5+ enchantment builds probably didn't do very much damage as opposed to the builds using only 2.
I hope I can still farm Exuro Flatus with the 130 Derv, his staff is useful for my heros. :/

I was always a fan of mystic regen despite what people say about it not making a difference. I've always found it useful for countering degen and healing minor/moderate damage. Now that they have decided to nerf it I've decided to remove it from my bar. Don't really think it needed a nerf...not like it would save you from a large spike.

mystic regen is what my monk used when farming too, i ma gonna go to a lil corner and cry. They just totally shattered by 2 month preplanned farm runs WHHYYYY!!!!

Exactly. I have a Derv that I play on often and I love Mystic Regen., but I'm glad it got nerfed. In AB, E/D or Any/D with a monk friend, made it almost impossible to kill them. One skill should not be able to sustain someone for as long as it did. Even now, it's a pretty powerful skill.

130 dervs arent dead....alot of people dont think of this but idk why. just use myst regen+prot spirit+hb. this comes out to like +15 regen. flail away with your scythe, and you're done.

Isn't regen capped at 10 pips? I can't imagine that much of a difference between 9 and 10 pips of regen.
Does this become an issue when you're combating things that cause degen?

my 130 derv buils uses 8 enchants and is invincible.
it still owns, just try to use enchant attacks instead of scythe.
you can use a totem axe and protective icon(+12 energy) and have 50 energy.

i had not problem with the crazy regen but how fast it could be reapplied plus the cast time was imba in pve and pvp
