for 1, there isnt much of a story to be spoiled. 2 - aside from prince rurik becoming undead, togo dieing, and komir becoming a goddess, there isnt anything to spoil your precious games. eotn is about non stop grinding pve action! ooh and cool over powered pve skills..

Playing Eye of the North first will spoil parts of the story of Prophecies, but shouldn't really spoil anything of Factions or Nightfall. However, i think some characters say things relating to events that happen at the end of these campaigns.
And, as you have already seen, someone will probably spoil the plot for you...

C'mon, you must have known when posting you were just askin' for someone to do that...

Like in grade school, you say you don't want to know what happens in a movie and so, that one kid tells you...

It wasn't right, but ya should have seen it coming...

It will not spoil the story in Factions or Nightfall.
Since Factions and Nightfall takes place between Prophecies and EotN i would recomend to play them to fully understand the final expansion EotN.
See it as the followup on Prophecies, mainly what it is. (and GW2)

Seriously though. The story lines may have been spoiled but the locales and mission types will still be entertaining. I've only finished Prophecies EotN and NF myself. Factions still has (had) surprises left for me.
