It was a huge effort by my alliance and some of it's friends, so I hope you don't mind if I mention some names without who's help we could not of done anywhere near as much as we did. Apologies if this is a little self indulgent but I feel it's important for people to get recognition for their hard work even though they did not expect or demand it.

But first some stats

We started collecting materials in early January as and when people had free time
We collected 143 sets of ingredients in all
We covered 76 districts during that time, of which an average of 200 people in a district(anet figures) which meant we directly helped around 15,200 people this year.
Each district had two runners in case of error 7/DC etc
In all 76 districts we covered, we never failed to deliver all the ingredients to the chefs.
And we did this for 24 hours..

I wanted to add that the community spirit yesterday was truly fantastic, and I'd like to thank everyone who turned up to support us, and cheer our runners on.

I feel honoured and a bit humbled that I was part of the team who brought it off. Over time you play a game, and you earn titles, play GvG and TA, make friends and team with people...but these magic moments like yesterday are something we'll all remember for quite some time.
