just a thought, think out side the box, size matters

okay if this needs to be merged with the other thread currently going then go head but its aim is to actually discourage ppl from thinkin inside the current ideas of gw2 and its Dragons. I started to just reply to the current thread going but i got to thinkin with so many posts already in that thread it probably be overlooked and id never get the point across so here goes ...

by the way that video was pretty decent and great way of showing love for his game. Now on the subject of these dragons its always great to come up with ideas and more than likely they are paying attention to what we are saying cos sometimes it helps them create the world we d like to play in.

However im in strong disagreeance as to what we are depicting to be the ANCIENT DRAGONS. For one its very mixxed at how big these dragons are to scale vs our chars as well as the dragons we know for sure, and to which are really the dragons we ll see later.

For instance the main two being The one at the end of EotN and the one found in Drakkar Lake. These ones so far are first choice for the ones that will probably be in GW2. In size they are far larger than any we had battled in any of the campaigns as far as dragons go, and as far as the lore goes that we know these two for sure will arise in one way or another.

From here though i dont see anything beyond "possibly Canthas Dragon Fortress" [more on this in a minute though] ...as being a strong possibility to the actual ancient ones. Heres why the ones most ppl are finding and pointing out are by far way larger than either of the two afore mentioned in the current lore of gw2 that we know for sure. And trust me when it comes too dragons some the size of what we think are the ancient dragons would wipe the other two out in a swallow. Besides magic their small body wouldnt compare to the ones we see the screen shots of.

Which leads me to this time to think outside the box and really look for some new easter eggs that will lead us to the next chapter. Im not discrediting the ones now by far ... but it would seem highly unlikely that some of the larger ones would be what we are looking for .. like the bone skeleton one that runs along that range. The one that is shown in the video that is incased high in the ice is probably a lesser like kunavaang for instance. Im sure in Murals underneath the land we could find something more maybe for instance.

Ill end this with the part i said ill get back to cos it actually kinda makes sense and at the same time heres the flaw in thinkin that would be the dragon. I always wondered and wanted to go to that lil isle where u can see the dragon and wish they would have went back to it in the story line, however i dont believe this is anything more than architecture , and fine architecture as it may be for such a simple group [ meaning canthans in general].

The other flaw to this idea is the fact that Canthans would INCASE THEIR DRAGON ....not likely. See since Factions is based off of more of chinese literature and arts u have to look at the dragon as being something more on the Good side ..though yin and yang could play effect however they do not look at the dragon in such a negative fashion as one would from tyria or Elona which are based off of other cultural backrounds where the dragon is revered in a more negative form. Maybe thats one reason they continued to not have contact outside of cantha... and the other dragon ensures that no one passes on water for to make it to cantha means to help in releasing the ultimate dragon teh one that would favor mankind and not its destruction. And then the temple has something to do with it.. just a thought but by far not impossible.

pt to this thread is im hoping new screens will pop up with this in mind ... that we are lookin in new directions ..

Whoa, that was a whole lot of typing. Thanks for the breaks, though. I've given up speculating about the dragons and things that could possibly might be in GW2. I'm excited to see anything they officially come out with but until then, I'm focusing on GW1.
