Rewarded skills - not there??

This happened twice now with my level 16 chr: I returned to one of the hero's handbooksellers and was rewarded by a skill. But the skill does not show up (1 Norn and 1 Ebon). This never happened with my level 20 chr. Am I missing something?

It like the Lightbringer skill, it wont show up until you take off the LB title and replay it. It same concept. Turn off the Title than turn it back on, that should show your skill.

What do you mean? The selection boxes next to the titles? Only Lightbringer and Vanguard have such boxes, but never ever anything happens when I select or deselect them.
Could it be my title levels are too low to make the skills show up? (but than, why would a storyteller reward me with a skill because of my progress - and than my level is too low??)

Its not actually a skill your getting. when you reach the first rank in the dwarven, asuran, norn and vanguard rank, speaking to the npc that hands out hero books, you gain a bonus. for dwarven its Stout Hearted, asuran its Edification, norn is Heart of the Norn and ebon vanguard its Rebel Yell. display the relevent title track to gain the bonus (if your in the right area)
