Purpose of the Fortune Teller?

Hi! I was wondering what the fortune teller npc is for. It's the one that tells you about love, prosperity, health and more. I tried to check my prosperity with her and she sad it's bad luck for me yesterday (Friday).

Maybe this npc can predict if we'll get a mini-rat or good stuff from the Lunar Fortune thing?

The purpose? A bit of role-play, lore, or something to read and get a kick out of it. Or just a waste of a ticket/token.
