Hi,
I got a problem with my dyes. I combined EotN armors with tyria armors. But I fail to get the colors to match, because the EotN ones are much brighter in a fierce way. I want my Tyria armor parts to become the color of the EotN ones, so they must get more bright but not get a flat color. I added some pictures u asked for

Bandana = red + purple
Elite Druids vestment = red + purple
Asuran gloves = red + purple + purple
Elite Druids legs = red + purple
Elite Druids boots = red + purple

Hope this helps some

Ty!!

How can you change the colour..with no colour changing... >.>

Add a black or a brown to darken them. Or even 2 blacks.

right say you want to make it lighter

say you want the armour a light red you would need to click the red onto to armour it will open a little window showing what it would look like then you should see 4 little boxed 1 filled with the red dye. fill another one of the boxed by dragging a yellow dye in it

you would do the same for darker but replace yellow with a dark colour

Berek, he meant tone. He doesn't want the colour changed, he wants the tone changed.

Would help if you posted a picture, and types of armor. What class? What armor? What dye did you use? What color are you trying to obtain? Lots of options based on what color you are trying to get, and what armor it is.

Different armors take dye in slightly different ways. I bought 2 sets of dervish armor (Sunspear and Elonan, I think - 2 of the 3 types available at the docks), to mix and match for the best look. Applying the same color on both sets resulted in a brighter shade on one and a slightly darker, duller shade on the other, which was quite noticeable when mixing the pieces. In the end I went for contrasting colors, settling on a bright yellow chestpiece from the one with the dark brown leggings, gloves and shoes from the other.

That's just the way it is, so you might have to find a creative solution to work around it.

As free_fall said, not only armors for different professions react differently to dyes, but different sets for the same profession react differently to dyes. One of the most obvious examples for that would be dervish vabbian and dervish sunspear 15K. Colors on the vabbian will be brighter and more vivid in some cases and colors on the sunspear 15K will be darker and more dull in some cases too. Easily noticeable with white or black dye.

Basically you're stuck to find some dye combinations that will give very similar results or use different colors that go well together.

I'm guessing you want the color currently on your Druids pieces. If so, use your dye preview panel, as it will show at least your top with the gloves and bandana at the same time. I don't know which colors will get what you want, but I'd try mixes of Red, Purple, Black, Brown, and even Blue. Green, Orange, Yellow, and Silver may surprise you though.

For the Asuran gloves, try Purple+green. I have that on my Asuran armor and I think it's really close to your druids.

I can't comment on the Bandana though, just experiment.
