I've done some research, and I'm thinking about playing this game... but I don't want to buy it unless I can run it, I meet all the recommended requirements (1 gb of RAM, Intel Pentium 4, etc.), but my graphics card sucks... it is an Intel(R) 82845/GL/GE/PE/GV... Does anyone know if my computer can run this game well? I also don't want to have to run the game on low quality or whatever, medium is fine though, or running on a lower resolution like 1024x768 in window mode.
Thanks in advance for the help
p.s. I hope this thread it in the right place, it seemed logical enough for it to go here.
can my com handle GW?

You will be able to run all of Tyria/Cantha I reckon, but you'll need a program called 3DAnalyze to cope with certain areas of Elona and GWEN.
I have a similar setup, only less RAM, and I have tried running everything on the highest of settings and the lowest of settings and both give me a fairly consistent FPS. I also run in 1024x768 window mode. I think you'll be okay (as long as you can tolerate 9-14 fps).

You can run it easily, if you meet the minimum requirements you can play it on medium fairly well with some slow loads every once and awhile. I am just wondering though, seeing as you meet all the requirements easily are you worried about your internet connection and them balancing out to give you a good gaming experience or were you just checking to make sure that you could run it at all because of you computer's specs?
Hope this helped ^^

since it is a pvp game, I want to be effective at it, will a slightly reduced FPS really make it hard for me in GW?

my internet connection is very good, I'm not worried about that...

Alright, a small reduction in FPS may affect your overall experience of PvP/PvE in certain situations, however, these situations would be few and far between as well as not that detrimental. You can be affective at PvP with anything down to the minimum requirements, Guild Wars PvP is more about skill/build than speed of your computer.
Also, I just wanted to point out that there is a PvE side to Guild Wars....
It is probably the easiest way to unlock items other than playing a whole lot of PvP (Tourneys for skins) or buying all the upgrades through the online store.
Hope this helped, more than the last one ^^

You don't have a graphics card. You're using integrated onboard graphics. If you want to play with ease go buy a graphics card.

@Ajank3r Thank you, and yes I know there is a PvE element and that it is well developed...
@Tarun omg, well that explains a lot, I'm going to pick one up very soon then, thank you
