The Cartographer's title doesn't seem that hard to get, seeing as there are maps and how-to-get-to-places articles floating around the internet :]

Somehow I managed to get a Pathfinder's title just by being lost all the time :B

Edit: I have that title on my Prophecies character. I'm not sure how the Eye of the north expansion affects getting the title :x

Sunspear and Lightbringer seem popular - they take quite a while... but basically cost nothing. Also the rep titles in Eye of the North can be viable options maybe?

the cartiographers titles are long and boring to do but not hard and semi profitable. You might also consider the HM titles like gaurdian and vanq. Reputation titles are fairly cheep to get and pretty easy if you farm books and Vanq EOTN.

save all your alcohols, sugars, and party items, and use them for those titles. You'll eventually get them, especially if you are good at getting them during the events.

I have been doing vanquishing and exploring at the same time, make decent amounts of money too. Currently doing Tyria, done with Elona and Cantha. Once you complete all of that, you will have 8 max titles which is always nice. I also can recommend the SS/LB runs, very easy just time consuming, and you get a fair amount of cash from that too.

Skill Hunter aint that expensive, some lil cash in stash + what you get just by playing, maybe VQ if needed and that's it
If you have the BMP, doing the quests rewards with some easy fast cash

Farmer titles are the Easier titles to max
Sunspear(by far the easiest to get)
Norn
Asari
Dwarven
Lightbringer
Ebon vanguard(hardest...using the term lightly)

Carthographers are easy to get
Elona(eaiest)
cantha (small map...some difficult areas to get like that pvp mission no1 does)
tyria(most time consuming larger map)

Skill hunters are easy but expensive, same with sweettooth/ party animal.
Avoid dunkard title...who wants to spenf 167 hours drunk and a minimum of 1 million gold.

Vanquisher titles are easier to get than guardian

master of the north is low priority too...to time consuming.

All other title not yet listed arent worth chasing. (ie)any pvp titles, treasure hunter, wisdom seeker, luck/unluck

Do cartographer with vanquisher. It's the best way to approach it so you don't have to do it once in NM and once in HM.

Do cartographer with vanquisher and cap skills at the same time

Admittedly not viable for most of Tyria, but it's nice when you can work on 3 at once. Hey, you can do it while drunk too!

Skill capping was the most 'fun' IMO. Cartography is the most 'dull'. Fortunately, I mapped Elona while I played and Cantha isn't to big. Tyria is taking forever, though...
Vanquishing can also get super-dull because some of the larger areas take hours to get through if you H&H them. If you have a lot of friends online that also want to vanquish, it wouldn't be so bad.

Longest I have taken to vanquish an area is 1h30 with h/h and that is usually because I missed a small patrol along the way. I have done Elona and Cantha so cannot speak for Tyria though.

I found that the Tyrian skill hunter paid for itself in just gold and merchantable drops. Or pretty close anyway. Nightfall was similar. In Cantha, it was too easy to get to all the bosses, so I was running in the red while doing it.

Get a vanquisher title, it's more challenging than most of the other titles and doesn't involve much grind. Plus it's something you'll be proud of which can't be said about most titles.

Combo them to save time.

Cartography + Vanquishing + Skill Capping

Skill capping will cost some money, but you easily pay for that by Vanquishing the zone. Having the zone clear makes mapping easy. Each zone will take a long time, as you will be killing everything and mapping. Since it would be in HM, you will get better drops, the Vanquish reward (5gold per kill), and if you have good luck, or money for it, can take Lockpicks to work on the Treasure Hunter title as well.

Wow, lol. Now you can do 5 titles at once. Cartography, Vanquishing, Skill Capping, Treasure Hunter, and Wisdom. ID all those golds you get
