I took a really about a 2 year break from Guildwars, but I decided to come back. I see there have been a lot of things I misses so I have some questions.

1. I heard theres an event going on where you can get a mini pig from. Is this true? If so where do I get this pig and what is the name of the pet?

2. I went to this section and they were talking about heroes and had builds for them. What are these heroes? Are they some kind of super strong character, and where do you get them?

3. I see there have been some more minions for a necromancer to use, but which one should I use? I've been thinking of using these 4 minions: Vampiric Horror, Bone Fiend, Shambling Horror, and Flesh Golem. With those 4 minions will I have enough room for other needed skills?

4. I've looked in the necromancer section and found some MM builds, but they seem really old with all the new skills and stuff. So could someone post a good MM build?

Welcome back. Yes you have missed a fair amount.

1. Canthan New Year is the event.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Canthan_New_Year
That has all the information you need.

2. Heroes are like henchmen, but you can customize them (to a limit).
You get them from:
Guild Wars Nightfall
Guild Wars Eye of the North
More info: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Hero

3. A Minion Master only need 2 minions (or 3 maybe if using the Flesh Golem). More would be pointless tbh.

4. Alot of new people use this website:
http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page
But alot of the more advanced players use their own builds. I currently dont have a MM build sorry.

1. mini pig was 2007, this is the year of the rat. You get a mini rat by opening lunar fortunes.
2. heroes are customizable henchman from nightfall and eye of the north. You can give them your weapons and choose what skills you want them to have.
3. Shambling horrors are from nightfall and when they die they turn into another minion, so two minions in one.
4. Personally i use this build on a hero, I wouldn't try it with a human because heroes do a better job with jagged bones.

Thank you guys that was really helpful.

So is Bone Fiend, Vampiric Horror, and Flesh Golem a good set if minions?

There are better elite for MM's nowadays though, namely [skill]Jagged Bones[/skill] [skill]Aura of the Lich[/skill] [skill]Order of Undeath[/skill]

Personally, I don't use Bone Fiends, but it depends upon what you want the minions to do. I want them to be a "meat shield" so "ranged" minions won't do.
The basic MM build I used on my Necro and currently use on my Necro Heroes is something like:

[skill]Animate Flesh Golem[/skill][skill]Animate Bone Horror[/skill][skill]Animate Vampiric Horror[/skill][skill]Animate Shambling Horror[/skill][skill]Blood of the Master[/skill][skill]Heal Area[/skill][skill]Deathly Swarm[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]

About 50% of the time I substitute [skill]Jagged Bones[/skill] for Flesh Golem.

Deathly Swarm is optional - sometimes I use [skill]Dark Bond[/skill] or [skill]Vile Miasma[/skill]
