Guild Hall daytime/weather option
BlackJag
Guild Hall needs more customization so I'd like to propose a setting that would allow to change time of the day and weather in guild hall.Example... you got this new prise fireworks from the Canthan New Year event and want to see it in the dark,so you talk to the guild lord and it becomes night or if you feel moody you can talk to him and it starts to rain.Game would be much more fun with this!

There should be a day/night and maybe a weather cycle anyway. But I doubt it be implemented into Guild Wars 1. Wait for Guild Wars 2.

with the entire game series (as far as we know) out the way it'd be a needless update, although that sort of thing would be nice in guild wars two. It'd be too much work for not enough gain. Although they can make a pretty sky just look at shing jea at the moment.

Part of the reason is probably because of the engine this game is based on, and the coding used at the time, it's possible that without a major re-work of some sort, day and night cycles aren't feasible in the current game. GW 1.5, anyone?

Well, it's a neat idea, I'll give the OP points for that; then I'll take to points right back for the lovely attitude following the responses.
"You can't always get what you want." -The Rolling Stones. Words to live by; once you accept that reality, life is much less troubling.
I've always wanted to see game designers implement random weather into their games, as well as seasonal changes, time-of-day evolution, etc. I think it'd create a much more immersive experience... didn't Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowing, and now Oblivion incorporate this kind of behavior?
Of course, how tiresome would it become to listen to people gripe about the weather in-game, as well as the real world?

We'd all be British, as politics and talk about private lives are banned from the dinner table.
I'd like seasonal changes, as it'd give a nice feel to the world. Imagine the now burnt-out Ascalon in srping, or Kryta in winter. Lovely.

In GW2 for sure, but no, not in GW1.

Although, I, admittedly, don't see why not...
I really don't see why either?

I wish GW has a day and night cycle...

there will almost surely be these circles in GW2, but it's not really needed in GW1, there are some other things that are easier to do and more needed and will not be added
