2 Things I'd like added
MagicalHobo
Here it goes...
1. An Easier way to jump to places on different continents. What I think would be quite handy to have is a new choice to the "Travel Boat" on the map screen labeled something like, "More Options." When you select more options, a box similar to the one you get from the More Options option in the District choosing panel (sorry if I'm a bit vague, I can't think of ways to describe them any better) appears, with many of the same features, but a new one with a text box. In this text box, you could start typing the name of the location you'd like to jump to, and while typing, a drop down box would appear suggesting places with names that fit with the text you've typed. This would enable for quicker travel between continents instead having to go from Tyria to Kaineng to Shing Jea Monestary.
2. An /stucknpc command. I think it's pretty self-explanatory why this is needed. When vital NPCs to a dungeon or bonus get stuck on a random chest, it's never cool. I think a /stucknpc command should be implemented, with the function of something like making all vital NPCs within the area move to the left or right (depending on what's there) and then having it continue on, no longer obstructed by said chest.
Sorry for the brick walls, and sorry if some of it doesn't make sense, I should be sleeping atm.

The /stuckNPC could send the NPCs to you.

What I've always wanted was just a map selector. Instead of the stupid little boat, there's just a drop-down menu in the upper left of the map screen. If you're looking at, say, the Tyrian map, you just click the map menu, select Cantha (or Elona, Realm of Torment or Battle Isles) and then that map displays without moving you anywhere, then you click where you want to go. Being able to hit tab to cycle between them would be nice too.
Not only would it enable you to go to any outpost from any other outpost, you'd also be able to quickly and easily check map-related progress. IE you can check and see what missions/bonuses you've done in any area without actually having to map around from continent to contient.

1) Typing in text box, or clicking mouse? It can be irritating but not game braking. /not signed
2) stuckNPC command? this is needed /signed

To the OP:
1. To be honest, it's too vague. 3 continents are seperated. Can't do much about it. Though I have seen some people suggest for a top 10 places you can add to travel. I think it's a good idea, but again, it won't improve much neither. Yes convinient but it does not make the game become more interesting or less boring.
2. I never encounter this but it would be annoying I can see. /sign

And they _shouldn't_ be teleported to you, it would probably be able to be abused SOMEhow. OP has a good idea on how it should work.

/signed for both ideas, but idea #1 has been requested so much that I don't think it's going to be coming in any time soon.

Then again:
Heroes are controlled by a human player.
Quote:
Non-Player Characters, or NPCs are any characters in the game world that are not controlled by a human player. While the term includes both friendly and hostile characters, in practice players will often use the term "NPC" to refer to friendly NPCs, and the term "Mob" or "Monster" to refer to hostile NPCs, although this is not always the case. |

1) I have been wanting something along those lines for quite some time, but I couldn't understand exactly what you where wanting. What I would recommend would be a 2-level zoom function, opposed to the single level we have now.
When opening the world map, it displays the small area you are in now, as normal. Zoom out, and it displays the continent, and normal. Zoom out one more time, and it displays all 3 continents & the battle islands as a single large map. You can then zoom into another continent. Doing this would also allow the removal of the ship, which is quite annoying.
2) Good idea.
