Ive heard from mutiple people that anet is awarding only the top 100 scores...aka only giving out around 30-40 prizes (depending on how many duplicates there are in the top 100).
So I went to the dev chat logs and read through the recent posts and the only thing I found regarding this topic was that gaile mentioned that somebody with mutiple top scores would not recieve mutiple prizes.
Is the prize distribution going to be similar to last year where anet looked at scores lower than the "top 100" and rewarded the "top 100 unique accounts"?
Anybody have any real info from anet about this? please ask gaile if u happen to be in dist with her about this.

Again, only the players with top 100 times will be rewarded, not the top 100 unique accounts. Regardless of the number of top 100 times you have, you'll only get one reward. Unless you're using multiple GW accounts of course, in that case you can get several rewards so you can keep one and sell the rest.

All she states here is that mutiple prizes will not be give on the same account. Shes does say this: "The way the system is set up, it's per accomplishment, not per account", but im not really sure what that means. Later on shes says that she dosent know how prizes are rewarded, but only knows mutiples arent given out.
So I have no idea how that statement "proves" that anet will not do the same thing they did last year and ignore the mutiples and look at the scores just above top 100 and award the top 100 unqiue accounts.

My guess is:
Those in the top 100 who are not duplicates will get the prize, and one prize per set of duplicates.
Anyone who is not listed on the top 100 list will get no prize at all.

If it's the top 100 accounts, I might have a chance of winning one. If not, I don't. Either way, I won a Rollerbeetle mini last year, so I could care less.

Well the event is over and the reward is a mini beetle again. I didn't get one so I highly doubt they rewarded the unique accounts. Did anyone outside of the top 100 get a mini beetle?

I think the question that everyone is asking is that the ones who are just below the top 100 who we cant see due to the doubles in the list, did they get a prize or were they just handed out to 40+ people due to the double times in the top 100.

Anyway guildwiki says 100 were given out...some guy on another thread countded and said there were 42 doubles so 58 were given. Fix wiki imo.

At least Tolkano says you have no reward points instead of him giving an option to collect points you don't have. My highest score wasn't' too great, but with all the duplicate high scorers, I figured just maybe...but, no. Just a minor complaint told more so for the comedic aspect.
