Your Reccomendation For Lunar Token Farming?

What is the quickest way for me to get Lunar Tokens? I have opened over 300/400 fortunes and still no celestial rat. It annoys the hell out of me that some people are getting a ton of them after 10 fortunes and then have the greed to pawn them for 25k+ undedicated.

Honestly, what is wrong with people? Anyway, how do you guys farm for tokens?

Rollerbeetle Racing - Too time consuming, no guarantee of winning.

Dragon Arena - Too time consuming, no guarantee of winning, winning yields a measly THREE tokens?!

Quests - Did them on all my characters, even made a new Factions char and spend 20 mins getting him to level 5 and another 10 mins doing the quests.

Farming - No good. Even my traditional Nolani farming during the St. Patrick's/Easter mini-events isn't working for Lunar Tokens.

So what do you guys reccomend? It's very hard to find a good method, the best method was the quests but now that someone has ratted on it, it seems that the less fortunate players this Canthan New Year will have to suffer.

I still question your drop rate ethics, ArenaNet. Did you REALLY improve the drop rates so Celestial Rats appear more often than Pigs last year? Moreso it seems like you made it totally random - which beats the drop rate of last year, but still - please show me the logic behind your workings!

ive been rollerbeetle racing...get about 50 every half hour

I dont have an answer for you, but whats with calling people who sell their rats greedy? I see little point in owning a little shiny pet that follows you around

Considering the time it can take to get a rat, I think 25k is reasonable.

If you play dragon arena with no other players you will always make at least 11 tokens. This normally equates to about 11 tokens per 4 - 5 min. Go find yourself a district that has no one playing. If you there are other players make sure you have a bean cake or something that gives you a sugar rush so that you can get to the worms faster then your opponents.

Find a vacant nest district and pop in cost 1 festival ticket to enter and reward is 11 tokens

its not even 25k any more, its really like 10k-15k. You should really just farm for the money, its a lot easier and less time consuming, itll take you an hour tops, whereas trying for a mini rat via fortunes ull have to try for a while

The Dragon's Nest method works well, but I just have horrible luck.

I'm going to start selling my tokens instead and will just buy a rat. X_X

That's what I did. 25k per stack, just buy a rat

I was lucky enough to trade my 2 unwanted (since I didnt have 5) mini pigs for my first rat----then with 17 characters did all those quests, over and over---it takes me about 1/2 hour to do them all ...after more than 600 fortunes I got 3 more rats...so 4 in total and my avatar is now happy. I can go to bed.

if you want to get one, buy it, many people have gotten ones they dont want. (and I would do it while they still have them and there are tons being sold---if you wait then the price may increase)....

I did rollerbeetle racing, it was fun and got me a lot of tokens. Of course, I got my rat on pretty much my fifth fortune opened....

Rollerbeetle is fun and fast. So why not?
