Lucky Aura + Lunar Blessing = weird white ovals?

So I was clicking through my lunar fortunes, trying to get a mini (success around fortune number 40!) when suddenly these three white ovals appeared around me. I haven't yet been able to figure out what effect they have, but I have been able to reproduce them: they appear when you have both Lucky Aura and Lunar Blessing (and not Spiritual Possession??).
It might be that these three ovals are well-known, but I at least have never seen them before, nor seen anything written about them. They seem vaguely familiar, though. Do we know of any monster which has something similar, and if so, do we know what the effect there is? (Perhaps this gets us a step closer to figuring out what Lucky Aura is for?)

Those ovals are very well known, and you are the most noobish noob for thinking this is new.

But in all seriousness, that's from the Lucky Aura blessing from the Lunar Fortunes. Nobody knows what it does, I'm pretty sure it does nothing and ANet just made it so we go crazy speculating over it.

Heh, dammit, should've checked wiki. Oh well, I shall carry my noob-title with pride. (Though unlike what the wiki implies, the effect for me didn't show up when I had only Lucky Aura - I needed Lunar Blessing next to it before it popped up.)

Has anyone tried using lockpicks with lucky aura?

i dont think it affects drops though

The talk page on the aura wiki dismisses most of what we would hope to be coming from this lucky aura.. I think it will be lucky if we work out what it is.
