Would a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT run Guild Wars well?

I have an EVGA GeForce8600 GT and it runs Guild Wars at 70 FPS very stable, with very good graphics, so yes.
But sometimes in big towns with tons and tons of people, the FPS drops down to 35-45, but thats only expected.
Other thoughts.. I was thinking of upgrading to a EVGA 8800GT to see if that gives me more solid FPS (Like 60 always, even in big towns) - But I think it might be a better idea if someone here with that card would confirm if I would get more solid FPS rates with it, since I don't wanna waste the cash.

Yes it would run GW well, older cards like GeForces 7600 run GW prety well. The 8800GT will surely give better performance. The 8600 while being a decent card is very close to the 7600 in terms of performance under dx9. Of course, it's dx10 compatible while the 7600 is not.
EDIT changed dx0 to dx 10 (for those trying to understand Snograt's post)

dx0 is what Bill Gates' brain runs on

I got an 8600gt too, and it runs great except in large towns. (It's my CPU, Sempron 1.8ghz...) I'm sure it would good with decent ram and a good CPU.

EDIT: Now I see that the 8600M Is a laptop card, so I guess all the PC specs don't matter. Either way.. I'm sure that the 8600 Laptop version would run Guild Wars fine, I did some research and I think this is it: http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8600M.html - 256 MB or 512, either way, It'll run Guild Wars I'm sure.

My computer exceeds All the expectations with flying colours(well sorta) except the video card. It is the step lower than the requirements its like a 32 but the requirements are 64... the only thing that is slow is bringing up the picture of a new area when u map or something. It only takes about 20 extra seconds to bring up the picture/area.
