I was just wondering whether to bring along Kihm or Sogolon for helping to keep my party alive.
In your opinion which of the two do you think is the better choice?

Kihm, no question. ZB is a reliable heal, condition removal, RoF is spammable for removing pressure + saves, PS is win in high-level PvE, and Aegis is always a big plus.

Whenever I have to take henchies in NF, I actually take both. Motivation paras are just awesome, and Sogolon does a pretty good job.
For a monk hench, I prefere Khim over Mhenlo as Mhenlo doesn't seem to do very well in NF.
But if you do take Khim, I will warn you-her AI can be a little buggy. One party wipe and you're better off taking a gerbil. She does great up until that party wipe, after it though she just stands there looking at her staff.

It depends on what I need out of the hench. Khim is a healer (protector), she keeps people alive. Sogolon is a support healer. He makes the job of the Monk easier. Unless dealing with low damage output from your enemies, I'd take 2 Monks. 1 Monk and Sogolon doesn't work well for most areas though. Areas with mass damage output, take Sogolon to give the Monks some help.

Head to head though, I would say that Kihm wins, but you still cannot do without another character supporting the healing. Considering that Kihm and Sogolon have different roles, they need not be mutually exclusive.
If you have play a Paragon and/or use Paragon heroes, definitely bring Sogolon, for added triggers for Echos and Refraines. The more the merrier with Paragons.
