Coming Back: What'd I miss?

Ok, so I may not have missed that much, but I played about a week of EoTN and quit guild wars. Is there anything that I missed? I feel like I have to do this every time I come back to a game because if there is anything I missed i'd hate to miss out. I saw some books in my inventory...what are those?

monks can cast [skill]Word of Healing[/skill] on themselves.
[skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill] got nerfed.

Canthan New Year just ended 4 hours ago. There was a bunch of QQ about the Rollerbeetle Game as well as the Mini Celestial Pig.

Some people found a way to hack into this "secret" outpost in the Realm of Torment that allowed them to go right to Mallyx. They got banned, and then another QQ thread popped up. *woopdy do*.

Starting to see a pattern?



Other than that... nothing really happened.

LoD got nerfed? Aww, that was a fun gvg build. The WoH self-cast is pretty cool I guess.

Bummer I missed the 2008 new years stuff, completely forgot about that. Oh well.

Besides the normal buffs/nerfs..not much.
