Pig thoughts...

Is the mini-pig trader gone now, and if so, how does this affect the mini-pig market? I can't see people paying 40K for them anymore if you can no longer "upgrade" them...
Thoughts?

They'll drop in price, but never become as cheap as they were before this event. 5K? 10K? 15K? Who knows.
The final price will be determined by how many minipigs were destroyed during the event, and how many players there are who've not got any minipig but want one.

Im annoyed with this whole pig thing. I gave 9 of em away after the last event and now if I want the celestial version I have to pay 30-100k each X 4.
Way to punish us ANET, very well thought out.

I have a feeling that regular pigs will be about the same value that they were before this weekend. Anyone who wanted them got one while they were cheap, so you're still back to the market being 'flooded' with them because those that would be willing to buy them have one.
Now Celestial Pigs on the other hand... since they were so expensive to get and they were only available once, they will probably be in the same range as a a Mini Kuna or a Djinn, if not more.

I hope celestial pig prices drop once the panic goes down. I want one but there's just no way I'm paying the same price I would for a mini I REALLY want, like a djinn.
As for me, I didn't sell or trade in the one undedicated pig I kept for myself after giving away my extras. I enjoyed Ham Hock just fine before Anet started crapping their pants over whether or not he was "worth" enough, and inflated pig prices weren't going to change that. >_>

I must say that I'm really disappointed in the fact that the trader is gone because I had 4 pigs to start with but there was just no way I could possibly spend hours spamming for a 2 more cheap pigs this weekend and then trade them in for a celestial (6 cause I wanted a regular one still) because I worked doubles from festival start to end, waitressing, and I guess, bad luck for me, but what the heck am I suppose to do with my now worthless again regular piggies? Now I have six again that are gonna be impossible to get rid of unless I either delete them or give them away, again. And I don't want to pay and insane 100k +...E for a celestial one when I have 5 perfectly good piggies already that could very well be traded in for one for nothing...
