CoF nerf

Looks like the CoF has been nerfed with the latest update, they gave the Crypt Banshee's Reveral of Damage, so goodnight smiter...

I ran CoF last night and there was no problem. Was there an update this morning?

They've always had that...There hasnt been any change to CoF.

Um no the smiter never got damaged from Reversal.

Reversal now targets properly (hits the smiter).. thats all.. still doable according to people I know.

true, there was a change to RoD but you can still run it, just have to make some slight changes. failed todays first run horribly lol, then we figured it out a way to do it. just heal the smiter..

Unless it changed in todays update, I didn't notice. Did a CoF run this am.

Just takes some really minor heals on the smiter. Nothing that serious. You can drop purge signet for a heal.

just have a party member bring orison or something...

How is this a nerf? They fixed another bug with Reversal of Damage, correct?
Still, a line in the update notes would be nice; something like:
At least, I presume that is the nature of the update.

I just did a run and I took enough damage to maybe require a bandaid (if you have OCD and insist your health be 100% at all times)... but not my own personal healer. My only death was the result of a blonde moment.

How on earth are you guys taking enough damage to justify taking a third person?

Meh. Never noticed such a problem with runs, mainly since I was bored and spammed WoH on the smiter whenever the smiter did BiP or otherwise took damage.

Get someone to cast Vital Blessing on your hero?

Purge Signet is expendable.

Use [skill]signet of devotion[/skill] on your smiters bar for himself.

The only reason people cry now is because the smiter, god forbid, since they get paid half the money, even though the 600 works much harder and gets only half, they have to do a little work.

If you are failing because of the update, and blame your failure soley on the update, you should not be farming with a monk.

If that's aimed at me, I didn't post here to whine about failing/anet/lag/the price of petrol. I posted to inform people and start a topic of discussion as to what can be done to overcome this.

I don't take parties into CoF, I do the run with just me and my hero smiter.

I'm sorry if you throught that was directed at you. It was directed at all ther whiners in Doomlore that I see complaining about the run, and those on the forums that think the sky is falling because of this. However, my post does tell how to overcome it with ease.
