The dark and shady world of GW.

With all thats been going on lately I was wonderd.. whats happening? It seems as if its all coming down at once... Have people just figured out GW's interworkings at last and are doing whatever they want in GW? I've logged over 4,000 hours in GW since beta but I Feel like I've been under a rock! There's all this stuff that happend, you got the Dupers, Secret outposts, Hackers crashing people, post-seering stuff in Pre... and thats only what here about.. what else is there thats going on? is there like a secret club of people who just ruin the game or something?

What else did I miss? I never really quit playing but Im starting wonder if I need to open my eyes more... how did it sink so low? I get wind of secrets wisperd in dark corners of exploits and hacks, bots in RA now too? Sure bots have allways been a problem but now they are in pvp? Doesnt really effect me cause I dont pvp much but still its just downright scary. what else is next?

Just the sheer evil of it makes me fell uncomfortable now. I miss the old guild wars, the one without Dupers, Hackers, Bots, and cheaters.. When the game was secure and safe... do you think it will ever return this way? Am I Just naive?

i agree with you cheaters, hackers, and bots are messing up the whole game. so many prices have dropped. and other horrible things are going on too

prices dropping isn't bots fault.

that post searring on pre is not a hack just a custimoze thing from textmode (witch is legal) , and for the hackers and that stuff they usually dont live long in-game ;p.

Im just wondering when everyone really started to dig into GW and start to mess it up... and what we're not seeing that people are keep quiet about..

I dont play any other mmo's.. is whats happening in guild wars common place in other mmos?

GW is still one of safest MMOs. If you factor in the number of players, it is *the* safest. What good is a secure MMO that only 17 people play.

When something happens - it's repeated here 20 times in 40 different threads. This blows everything out of proportion.

Yeah, they depend on Anet. Changes to gameplay effect prices very closely, if you pay attention you'll know when something is going to lose value.

As for all the exploits I guess one of two things:

1. They've always been there

or

2. No one's "at the wheel" of GW1 as they work on GW2 so it's falling apart

If what you say is true, what impression can that give us of where GW2's going to go? Is GW2 going to fall apart too after just 3 short years because they are too busy working on GW3? Lord I hope not, Despite all the rich money grabbing people, the hacks and explots and noobs out there I still love GW and its though now changed Mission statement. I guess im just posting cause I am concerned for the game I love, the time i've invested in it.. and where its gone / going. guess I just wanted to talk to someone about it.
