I see an increasing number of Rits bringing Life on their bar. But I don't see them bringing any Rupter Soul or anything. How are they controlling the timing. Are they just not caring about the heal and using the spirit for spiritual spell benefits? aka Spirit Light, Spirit Burn what is the best way to go about using Destruction and Life ?? Just leave it up to fate/chance??

Didn't you notice, that Life has exactly same duration as recharge? As soon as it's going to end, they can cast it again.

I'd argue that the purpose of using Life (unless you're bringing several spirits) is to power the myriad of spirit-related skills for Ritualist (not just mend b&s). The heal at the end is nice but can hardly be relied upon; it's a bonus, and in most cases happens to be a better bonus than what most other spirits offer.

Yeah, when I use Life, I use it to compliment my spirit needing skills.

[skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] [skill]Spirit Light[/skill] and [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] come to mind.

The heal is just a lovely surprise.

The only thing that I hate about life is that is takes 20 second to heal.
Brining [skill=text]Spirit to Flesh[/skill] or [skill=text]Feast of Souls[/skill] for emergency heal.I prefer [skill=text]Recuperation[/skill]

It's there to relieve pressure that starts to build up during combat, essentially resetting party bars to nearly full every 20 or so seconds.

"+120 health?!?!?!? holy shit!!!!" I agree. I think the purpose is two fold. #1 its a spirit and helps act as a "medium" for spells that require spirits. #2 It heals... Now I don't "rely" on its healing but I use it as insurance amongst my manual heals. It simply makes [skill]Spirit Light[/skill] and [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] as well as other skills more potent...then boom...heal out of now where. I also dont have to worry so much about the placement (behind walls etc). Now I do like [skill]Recuperation[/skill] but I move around alot and I enjoy the mobility of [skill]Life[/skill]. Thats another topic though.
