What would you like to see happen - storyline
Ouchie
With GW2 coming in the next year or two what would you like to see happen in GW1 and how would it be done.
I would like to see a mini event for
1. A Celebration of the Life of Togo/Rurik
2. A wedding for Cynn & Mhenlo (classic Couple)
and/or Koss & Melonni
and/or Gwen and Pyre Fierceshot (I like this combo as it means Gwen finally moves on)

I would be laughing for a good week if Gwen would marry Pyre
The celebration of Togo sounds nice, Rurik was just annoying anyway.

I don't think much at all should happen... nothing that makes it feel like the "end" for GW1. GW2 is the future, how can that be planned for and celebrated in an event anyhow?

I think GW2 takes place like 200 years after GWEN?
Might be wrong on that, though...

Yeah, I am really just looking at things that we would like to happen in GW1 before the release of GW2 not things that continue on in GW2 -

I'd like to see a greater divide amongst the charr, in which Gwen and Pyre lead a rebellion for the good of all ma.. charrkind!.. or something.
Resident
Pyre and teh charrslayzor lady That would be hillarious! But Mhenlo+Cynn would be nice as well.

I'm not sure I'd like them to give us more storyline in GW 1 without it giving us more content to play. Otherwise it may feel a little forced and pointless. I kinda like the story leaving off the way it did at the end of Eye of The North. It left me feeling excited about the next game.
As for GW2, I hope they have some kind of closure for the characters we played beside for so long. Maybe some monuments to discover out in the wilds, telling the tales of the NPCs we care about the most, so we know what became of them. I'd kinda like that.

1. End-game party at Droknar's Forge after beating the Lich. Endamge area just like with the other three campaigns and the expansion.
2. A final travel from Tahnnakai Temple through Canthan northern mountais to a Shriner where a Rift to the Anguish is. Players enter the Rift and destroy the automated demon-machine Shiro set to turn souls into Shiro'ken.
3. An event in Abbadon's heart after freeing Razah. Fighting the Envoys to defend the cause of Rurik and Shiro and free them from the Underworld. The Vizier would be there too, back to his former self, but he would have to stay repenting for a long time.

Never hold your farts in,
they travel up your spine and into your brain,
and that is where shitty ideas come from.
I think there is a pic of a cat that goes with that quote, ill try to find it for later on in this thread.

That would never happen. Any events that relate to the storyline never exist as it counts as a spoiler

Lets say that one of your decedents becomes good friends with lets say a charr. So they are fighting an epic battle and the charr dies, what is your decedent going to do? Adopt the charr's son of course, and because of this you now have a charr that is part of your family. So now can have a charr as your character in GW2.

Your theory doesn't really fit it may for Azure/Norn/Other although i can't say i have read up on their lore

That was a rather homophobic statment you made that had nothing to do with GW, and I hope it won't be tolerated here.

It seems to me that you want your charr decedent to be from bestiality.

It's probably more along the lines of the gods decreeing a particular legacy (which you actually choose) to a hero (GW2 character). Although you select a character to inherit from, that can be turned in the story as Balthazar selecting the hero for you to aid your cause. This allows for any character to inherit from any species without 1_up having nightmares about inter-species singles bars.
Mister_Smiley
How about Day/Week of the Gods, where all the gods show up in the main towns and something special happens.
Also its 250 yrds later.

Mhenlo and Cynn on the other hand isn't a major plot point, so that is doable.
Griff Mon
Political correctness rears it's ugly head into a fantasy world.
It is 200+ years later when GW2 starts, so we can all go to the cemetery and beseech our ancestors to show us a sign of their wisdom, but I think it will be a whole new story with a fresh start...

Having Mhenlo marry Cynn is way too predictable.
I'd like to see a funny twist, like Mhenlo turning Piscopalian and Marrying those two canthan twins.

Where do you people find so much time... seriously.

Gwen had happy bed time with Gareth after having happy bed time with Pyre and that's how Goreth the Charr came about in GW 2.
As for events, I don't really mind what they do. As long as it involves making titles easier and less time consuming to get.

Well as far as the storyline is concerned, I would like to see the either the V/O or the actual characters of Dhuum and Menzies appear.
Probably just to say something along these lines: “If only these heroes knew the inescapable tragedy, they brought upon Tyria. They might have not saved it the first time.”

There was no option to stay with the King and go up to Drascir to fight the Charr instead of going with the Prince to Kryta.
Lawliet Kira
wonder how gwen and pyre would have kids....and would it be a human/charr *shrugs*

Anyways, back on topic... storyline...
Huh... as someone who just doesn't care for the storyline right now, I'd like to play as the MAIN character, and not have the NPCs as them (because no, I don't care much for the NPCs in general, they seem too... I don't know, not deep?). I think that just killed the storyline for me, along with the bad twists. Can't immerse in a storyline my character CAN'T immerse...
