Has anyone from in game carried a grudge onto the forums?

A former guild member who left the guild, in a not friendly manner, from time to time appears and makes snide comments in threads I either start or post to. I am just curious if this has happened to anyone else. I just ignore the comments, but sometimes it gets a little old. If it happens in game that is where it should stay, not to be carried onto the forum as harassment.

Strangly enough, no, which is odd considering how easily I can get people to hate me. Although I'm willin' to be alteast 50% of this forum has a hatred of me.

I saw the reverse happen in-game, oddly enough.
Someone in Gunnar's Hold or Sifhalla, I forget which, was yelling at one of the GWG mods(not sure if I can say who) in all chat for banning them from GWG. It was pretty funny.

That happens a lot. And you were right to play it safe and not post the name.

It's a good indicator of how little of a real life they really have. Sad really.

The nice thing about vB forums is that you can ignore users by adding them to your ignore list (and unlike GW, there is no silly cap on the number you can ignore)

Snide comments could be considered as an attempt to flame or troll and can be reported to the mods.

I have...people who've scammed me via ingame...if I see them post...Ill reply and make note of what they did.

*sigh* As usual, people just can't let go of grudges. They hate the fact that someone else is right, blah blah, the usual. Never happened to me. I ignore them anyway. Stuff. Bring on the kitties, please.

From forums to the game yes but not the other way around.

Nope I got friends who post and I'll usually say something to them if I see them in a thread other than that no.

As strange as it seems I'm sure it's not that uncommon. There are a lot of ppl who take the game way too seriously to the degree it affects their RL relationships.

No. That would just be... well, kinda creepy really. I mean if they're really taking a game this seriously think about their mental state.

I have seen people rip into each other on the forums, but I figured that was cause one said something to the other, on the forums. LOL one day I was bored and decided to go read a few of those threads. Kept me entertained for hours.

Nope, ive only ever really know two people in game and on guru and they are both pretty cool .

Hasn't happened to me yet, I think... if it did I didn't pay too much attention to it. I've heard of the other way around though, but once again, I don't recall it happening to me.

If it even happens to me, I doubt I would notice, I rarely remember names or avatars. XD.
