CC: The Mutant
sidstyler89
This is my first attempt at making a concept class. I did this because It seemed fun to think of something, not for the contest. You are welcome to leave suggestions, better names for the content, etc.
The Mutant ("The Necromancer's Assistant")
Description: The Mutant is a caster-like class that utilizes multiple forms to either improve combat capabilities for itself or allies, raise dead foes or allies to fight along side the Mutant with increased combat effectiveness, and inflict negative effects to foes.
Attributes:
P Rage: For each point of Rage, you gain 1 Bloodriot whenever a non-Spirit creature near you suffers or recovers from a condition for every 4 ranks of Rage.
Tranformation Magic: No Inherent Effect. Many Mutant skills, especially spells which change forms, become more effective with more Transformation Magic.
Resurrection Magic: No Inherent Effect. Many Mutant skills, especially spells which raise the dead, become more effective with more Resurrection Magic.
Vile Magic: No Inherent Effect. Many Mutant skills, especially spells which inflict condtions and hexes, become more effective with more Vile Magic.
Weapon:
The typical caster weapons
-Vile, Bone, Transformed, Resurrected Stave (Transformation, Resurrection, Vile): Stave Stats. Dark, Cold, or Chaos damage
-Truncheon, Vile, Transformed, Resurrected Rod (Transformation, Resurrection, Vile): Wand Stats. Dark, Cold, or Chaos damage
-Transformed Icon, Resurrected Cesta, Vile Icon (Transformation, Resurrection, Vile): Focus Item stats.

Health/Energy:
*Health: 480 (at level 20)
*Energy: 20
* This is if you don't have anything equipped.

How is this any different than a regular necromancer?

What would this class have any relation to in the storyline of GW-GW2. And when you say mutants do you mean like the Flood type mutants or X Men mutants A.K.A circus freaks with tight gay outfits?
Phoenix Tears
oh god..please no...not just another 5 minutes thought about-CC
1. Mutants are no profession, because people can't simple "learn" how to be one -.- professions are somethign, that must be learned or teached by someone
2. This is GW, not X Men
3. We need no Necromancer-Clone Class
sigh

Technicly, you COULD learn towards becoming a mutant. You could learn how shift your body into one. OMFG! I JUST THOUGHT OF A NEW PROFESSION! A profession that allows you to change your appearance to unlock new effects like the 'Avatars' but more minor. I'M SO HAPPY!

What I was really going for was the idea apart from the Ursan/Raven/Volfen Blessings. Only difference is that it's a constant buff for the party, give or take, and it's much like how Dervish forms work.. to be able to use your given 7 other skills to deal damage/conditions/hexes.
I don't need lectures about how we don't need a second Necromancer because it never had to be.. it isn't like anyone should be worried about a second, and I thought it up mainly because I had nothing much else to do.
I wouldnt worry about any "Mutant" class at all, because it was a shot in the dirt idea.

peoples already whined for shapeshifters and look what Anet gave us..gay Dervish's - Men in Skirts >.> which transform into Wannabe-Gods.
A totaly crap and screwed up Concept, that would have been a way much better concept for a GW unique Dancer-Class has been modeled into something, that should shapeshift ... and that, where Dervish are wel known for their DANCES and then this profession has NO SINGLE DANCE SKILL and brings not into the Game Dance Skills, which would have been a good addition to Stances, Shouts ect. for Party Support for example
For the sake of GW - there would have been even a stereotypical Druid a way much better addition to the Profession Set of GW, that wouldn't have looked so overpowered on impression and still would have been able to shapeshifter, into "Animal Forms" and not into divine Avatars >.>
But that would diss then the Norns in the end again now, where we know, that there will be a Shapeshift Race coming in GW2 (ugly huge teddy bears) >.<
@Bohya: was that now sarcasm, or a serious answer ? if it was serious, then roflmao XD that was very good for a hard long laugh. What will come next ? Will you teach me, how to become a Cyborg ? how to become a Vampire ?, how to become an Animal of free choice ? or most best ...how to become an Angel or Devil ...
god people, start learning to know the differences between what is only a Profession, and when something is an own Species and not a Profession
Thats like, as if clueless fools suggest Vampires as a new profession >.<
A Vampire is no profession, a Vampire is a Race, an own undead Species, different then Zombies, Skeletons or Lichs.
signed XD

Steroids are another story though, though I don't think Anet is willing to go there.
Would be funny though, having a quest to rid the area of consumable addicts(that all have lvl34 flesh golems )
saleenman
lmao lvl 34 fleshies
N1ghtstalker
sounds like a failed clone of necromancer
sounds like in Battle Realms between the Serpents and Lotus
with Serpent Necromancer and the Lotus Warlock
but they didn't have so much in common
you just failed by cheaply ripping of from the necro
"raising the dead" do i hear someone shouting Minion master?
