Fronis Irontoe's Lair - Nerfed

I've just done a few tests tonight and have come to the conclusion that Fronis Irontoe's Lair has been nerfed quite a bit. Basically the Thunderfist Brass Knuckles no longer use any dagger tangs, handles or inscriptions while inside Fronis's lair. I tested this with 2 different daggers. 1 a customized Icy thunderfist's brass knuckles of shelter with a brains over brawn inscription and 2 a fiery thunderfist's brass knuckles of defense with no inscriptions. I have no clue if the armor ever worked in the first place (never really did any testing and didn't pay attention to damage done to me) but the damage done by both was the same both in normal mode and in hard mode.

Before this nerf I was doing 92+ damage with the brawling uppercut, 40+ damage with brawling headbut, 35ish+ (40+ maybe?) with brawling hook, 12 with brawling jab and I can't recall (60+ maybe?) for brawling combo punch. I was also doing 2-9 damage on most dwarves (not wolves or ogres) with my standard attack. I occasionally do 1 damage now.


What all does this mean? Basically it means there is no point to customizing your weapon or upgrading it in the least. I would highly assume that this applies to armor as well but I've not tested it and I probably won't test it.

Took me about 15 minutes but I'm tired and I screwed up the ring event pull. Also due to there being some sort of odd xp cap you only can only get 700xp per kill max.

Remember that I'm merely pointing out a fact. Whether this is good, bad, ugly I leave it up to you. Its also still one of the better places to survivor farm.

Edit: A couple of further tests show just how bad it has been nerfed. Pre-nerf I was able to kill a dwarf by myself with the skills 7->6->4 combo. Now I have to use skills 7->6->4->3->2 to kill something by myself. Pretty sad imo that you give something that can be upgraded and then nerf it later...

. I havent noticed any diff myself, im still killing ok, altho i didnt take much notice of numbers.
700xp per makes it pointless forking out for the LB scrolls so im just using double scrolls in HM, suprised no one else noticed it before i pointed it out tbh.

I'm with Lykan, I haven't really noticed anything different. I can still kill one thing using Skill 7 -> Skill 5 -> (If necessary spam Skill 2). I can still finish on average 8-9 minutes using Double XP scrolls. So, I don't really think its been nerfed at all.
