Hey guys.

I was doing like one of the first missions as a level 7 War/Mnk.

I came up on an Ascalonian Chest and used the key. It dropped an unidentified purple attuned staff.

When I identified it, it was like "Enchanted Attuned Staff" or "Attunement Staff of Enchanting" or something.

Do I just vendor it? Or sell it in party search?

And how do I know if something is worthy of party search trade or just vendoring? And how do I know how much to ask for it?

Try the Price Check section on the forum. It has some stickied threads that are used as a general guideline.

If those aren't helpful, try posting a thread in that section and you're sure to get responses.

Hope that helps.

that's merchant stuff
You learn later on what is worth something and what's not.
Anyway, merch all non-max stuff.

Non-maxed stuff just aren't worth a whole lot. Staff in general really aren't worth much even if maxed with nice stats unless the skin is unique or rare (Ghostly Staff, etc). With NF campaign, players can buy inscriptable non-max dmg with low req from Kamadan weapons smith. Not to mention leveling up is quite easy that most players just won't waste gold on purchasing a weapon they'll out level a several quests later. ID everything and sell off to the merchants.

Don't worry about selling stuff to players until you get MUCH later in the game. If it is better then the equipment you have now, use it or put it in storage for another character to use. If not, sell it.

You can always just salvage this stuff until you get full stacks of materials and then just sell them. I still do this, I don't even ID it, just salvage until stacks are full then sell the stacks. A lot less hassle.
