Hey, i have this problem making my armor shine, instead of changing it when i load my mod, i did read to remove the shine, and did that, but that was the shine of my fow gloves/boots, now they come up normal, but my other parts and my hair are still bugged.i cant find any shine on these parts, the shine was there already when i just added the color changes to the body.
I conveted my pics to Bmp with photoshop.

my texmod file says this:

the /GWshine.bmp is the shine i made black

Ok thats easy to fix when you get the texture that you want instead of saving it as a jpg or a bmp save it as a DDS.
you will need this if you are using gimp http://registry.gimp.org/node/
Same process just different format its simple after you get the hang of it. the process is different for capes you will still get the shine
Note: when you load the picture into Gimp or photoshop do-not load "Mipmaps"
