ok i haven't played guildwars for 6months and when i come back to do my usual 5man fow farm i find i need to be a "ursan" i asked lots of people and at first it wasn't clear to me. i found out i req eye of the north to play this fow ursan as no1 would play with me without having the ursan.
ive spents lots of money on the 3 games so far and i dont think thaT eye of the north should affect my ability to play my 3 games i have now.
i believe either ursan to be accessible to everyone or it goes somewhere else.
not happy at all after playing for 4 years

Ursan is available to everyone, you just need to purchase the expansion where it exists. It's the same with people who are missing campaigns. For example, if a group is looking for an SS necro, and the necro they find doesn't have prophecies, he/she will be kicked. It's basically the same case here, they're looking for someone with Ursan, you don't have Eye of the North, therefore they don't want you in their group.

You man just how some peoples game was ruined with you only letting them play 5 man teams? get a guild and play with them or suffer what PUGs demand.

i had no problems getting a team without UB for FoW..i have cleared FoW several times in last week with different characters.

UB teams are not only teams running..

if you have trouble finding a group..maybe lead/form your own team for FoW without UB being required.

and please dont turn this into another anti-UB thread its getting old..

1 Explorable area isnt ruining your game, you need to adapt and buy EOTN or move on. Also, people are just being more effecient now, they can do FOW in half the time a 5 man team can.

Ursan makes it so everyone has an equal chance at doing doa (and uw, and deep, and urgoz etc) Just because it inconveniences YOU to some degree, it doesn't mean you can never go there again. There's still people willing to do it the old way, just takes longer to make a group.
