There should be an option to lock items so you dont accidentally throw them away like i did my r9 perf zodiac sword. i typed in /bonus to give my monks the staff so when i was throwing away the other bonus items i threw away my sword accidentally >:O Now i request a lock item option, no pw or anything, just have a message you have this item locked, if u wish to throw this item away please unlock it

I never keep important items in the backpack; my equips are all in the belt pouch, and I usually have another bag reserved for alternates or headgear. My belt pouch is disabled at the merchant.
Never encountered this problem.

Stockholm's right; post in the other thread rather than starting a new one. See the Sardelac Sticky.

Solution 1: Don't mindlessly drag and delete stuff.
Solution 2: Don't keep important stuff in backpack.
Solution 3: Cover your good items with an unsellable item for merching purposes.

Keep your important stuff in the last 2 Bags, or in the Belt Pouch if you run out of room, and don't just spam+click delete things.

Anyway, this post was made about 24 hours before yours, which is the same idea.

Try being more careful in the future instead of being lazy and spam clicking at the merchant, or just throwing stuff into the trash without looking at it.

Suffer the consequences for not paying attention.

You guys don't understand it takes something called common sense to solve this problem...(personally I don't have much but even I have enough not to do this!!!!)

Haha, owned.

Be more attentive in future, hmm? Or do what I do and put a non-merchable item as a barrier for your valuable items, and keep them at the very back of the inventory, thus removing all risk of accidental merch. As to deleting it... wow.

if i have something important in my inventory I will always place it separately so I don't get it mixed up. It's not something the devs need to fix, it's just something you need to be more careful with.
