necromancer armor

I read in so many places that scar pattern armor provides more energy than other types of necro armor. The official wiki doesnt mention that.
since it is ugly(and expensive), I wouldnt like to buy it if it is not true.
Can anyone who actually wears it state here if it grants more energy ?

That was before updates i expect..

Armor now uses Insignias..so any armor is all the same (apart from AL) and any armor takes insignias (apart from certain collectors armor)

Just take your favourite armor and equip Radiant Insignias and Attunement runes.

that was the case previously. each armor skin had its own inherent stats.
now each set is "blank" so to speak, and you can buy runes and insignias to get the stats you want on the armor you want. you don't have to buy a certain armor for the stats anymore.
