haha d2 reference ftw.

Anyways, I do think it is a great idea to put Razah into GW2. For me, the only cool NPCs in NF were Palawa Joko and Razah. I think a good way to bring him in *although somewhat unfair to those without NF and/or EN* is to set up a quest in the HoM only availible to those who put up his statue in GW1. Or, if he must not be a hero, it can be set up as he battles Joko as Onarik said, he was probably joking, but that would be neat .

As for those who say his past is never explained. It is. It's just very very very short. Let me sum it up: "Razah was born in mists to lean. He was kept 'imprisoned' by Abaddon. We set him free."
...
O wait, thats his actual past .

Theory 1
"We don't know who he is, only that he has horrible taste in fashion and he breaks into the families' houses at night and steals from the cookie jar. YOU MUST STOP THIS FIEND!"
*Locate the monster.
*Destroy the monster.
*Report to the Game Show Hub and try to guess what character from GW1 the monster is, for a chance to win a random dye!

Reward:
500 Gold
2500 Experience
5 Cookies

Theory 2
Razah was created to learn, right? And since he's immortal, he'll be learning for some time. He learns and learns and learns and goes insane through some crappy plot twist, you need to destroy him. Yeah it's basically Theory 1 but with more explanation.

My impression was that he was created to be a servant of Abaddon - possibly just to be another Torment demon, or maybe he was a special creation to replace the generals we'd just obliterated - except that we intervened before his mind could be shaped in the correct fashion. That was his original intended purpose in life, but it was never given to him so it was up to us to give him another, hopefully nobler, purpose.

I can see Razah in GW2 as one of the last sunspears in elona fighting Joko then after that Razah can return to the mist or help the tree people find their purpose in the world like he has.

What about Zhed/Vekk? We don't know how long Asuras or centaurs live. Pyre will be probably dead, Charrs live as long as humans...

Zhed might be around.

Ventari is an old bag in Prophecies (and GW:EN). Let's use the earlier year and say he's around 80 (human years) in 1072 AE. Ventari dies in 1165 AE.

1165-1072=93. He will die around the age of 173.

Zhed is, what, 19? 17? One of those if I recall. So yeah, he could live roughly another 160 years.

From the official website and the manual:
Rebellious Centaur

"Tell me again why I should help you. Where were you, two-legs, when my family was slain by the Kournan jackals?"

Origin: Centaur
Age: 17

So yeah, if centaurs can live that old.. but still fairly unlikely to Zhed live over 260 years old.

I can see it now, Razah and Zhed form a crime fighting duo against the evils of Palawa Joko.

But on a seriouser note, Razah is a demon from the Mists, the Torment Demons can't really die since they can just go back through a portal or by a Call to the Torment skill. Not sure if that's true for Razah but he seems to be made the same way as the demons.

If he is immortal then he could be used to clog Primordious' wind pipe for eternity.

Dang, I wish Razah had Call of Torment, it'll be better than having an MM!

From memory Vekk was described as "young" and is already well on his way to a three-digit age. I would say he'll probably still be about (barring accidents or something anyway).

Please don't make Razah into a 343 Guilty Spark. Razah wasn't annoying enough in GW1 to warrent destroying him in GW2.

Would be cool to see him return though, he does seem like the immortal type, they never did exactly say how old Razah is to begin with.

As I read through this thread again, I started thinking, how did the "immortal" idea for Razah come about? He *obviously through putting him in a party* can die, unlike Joko, we just assume he cannot be killed *definition with immortal* but we, somewhat, know he cannot age *eternal youth concept, not same as immortality*.

Although it would be grand if Razah can use the Call of Torment skill in GW2, if he is in GW2, which as iI said would be great. It would most defenitly suck if we have to kill him like some are saying. And it would be grand if he really cannot die, but as I said, we just *somewhat* know he doesn't seem to age.
