Hi, i can still get on the game, but when i try to get on my desktop, the resolution is beyond the max level when i was testing my widescreen resolutions. Now, all i get is a black screen saying "cannot support this video mode". i can still hear my guild wars in the background, and was able to log on to character, but wasnt able to blindly change my resolution back. I tried to run in set resolution through properties, didnt work.

Also did system restore, reinstalled game, didnt work.

Any ideas? would be greatly appreciated so i can pvp on desktop.

Change your deskop Resolution For smaller even if bad graphic and run gw or try change it if it doesnt work download new drivers for your graphic card you get most them for most popular Cards www.nvidia.com and www.ati.com But you can try google if you dont have nvidia or Ati video card.

1. Use windowed mode, reset your settings. To use windowed mode, either (a) edit your shortcut to read <"C:\blah blah blah\gw.exe" -windowed> without the pointy brackets obviously, or (b) press Alt+Enter while the game is running.

OR

2. Borrow a monitor that does support that resolution, swap monitors, change your settings, swap monitors back.

OR

3. Delete your gw.dat file. Then kick yourself because it's going to take a long-ass time to redownload it.
