The only thing I can possibly think of is the sunspear skill necrosis, but that's pretty much it. Sorry, not the best idea.
Songbringer
Necro skill Gaze of Contempt is nice on an ele bar. I use it in PvP alot vs other eles HB monks and WaMo's
Edit: If you aren't liking the /n part you can change it once you ascend.

Spec some into Blood Magic and use those skills.

Do not use Blood magic on an ele. Ever. But E/N is still good. Necromancers have lots of thing like Enchant removal and condition removal/transfer that you dont have on an ele. The enchant removal is especially good since it will maximize your damage.

The OP is obviously new at the game/class. At his/her level of play, using blood magic would be fine (it's definitely the best attribute line to invest in for low level PvE); I certainly found it effective when I first started. The only reason you'd bring enchant removal like Rend or Gaze on an Ele is if you're playing in a spike build, which I highly doubt is something the OP has even heard of. Suggesting condition removal like PTouch or Sig for an Ele is laughable.
Thinking is key.

I would just stick with the ele skills. They'll bring more to your bar than any skill the Necromancer can provide.

Thinking is key. Yes, but since the OP is new, they won't know when better options become available and when it's worthwhile switching. Habits like Blood on an Ele don't just fix themselves.
Don't bother with Necro skills of any kind imo. Run a mix of Fire/Energy Storage and just burn stuff to deaths.

I'm curious as to what blood skills you were thinking on the ele?

Gaze of Contempt, being non-attribute, is ok, either as a general enchant-stripping annoyance skill, or to clear off any enchantments before using skills like Vapor Blade.
If you find yourself thinking "Should I take <Necro Skill>"....stop and think to yourself "Would it actually be beneficial and help me achieve my goal?"...if the answer is no, leave it alone.

Basic stuff like Vamp Gaze and Life Siphon, at least that's what I used on a W/N in early 05'. Sure it's terrible, but as you gain more experience with other classes and skills you're able to see why some skills are better than others.

If they're new, and you teach them bad skill ideas, they will carry those ideas over to other professions. All too often lately I've seen W/Me with a staff casting Empathy and Clumsiness, Rangers with a bar full of Ele skills, X/N minion masters. People get set in their ways too easily in this game, and refuse to change their build when requested, even when asked politely and with a well reasoned argument purely because "they've been using this build since they started and it's pwnage-in-a-can".

Rend enchantments, gaze of contempt, necrosis, and maybe enfeebling blood should be the only necro skills you'd ever want to use. However, there's enough ele skills that you won't be needing necro skills for the most part. Before getting all your necessary skills for one attribute line, you'd still rather spec into 2-3 different elemental magic types as opposed to 1 elemental magic+necro stuff.

Fair enough, I just personally think it's better if they played around with everything first then looked at playing 'real' bars. However, GW is in it's late stages so there might not be time for that type of development, in which case telling the OP what works and what doesn't is probably best.
OP: Fire magic. Use it. Blow shit up. xDusT II

Blow shit up. I get what your saying. I'm not sure if you necessarily need to run sub-par skills to realise their shortcomings. To OP: As has been mentioned, stick with fire, if you want to experiment you can dip into the blood line but as soon as you start to get the hang of the game you should be fully focused on elementalist skills. Ok I have only been playing GW for a month or so, but 1 of my chars is a lv10 E/N and after reading this thread I'm about to /quit on it.
If you are going for an all-out Necro skill bar (not including e-management), what is the difference between E/N and N/x other than energy management? Signet of Lost Souls? Because from all the builds I have seen at this website, that is the only SR skill that ever makes any of them. SR gives practically unlimited energy when things die a lot, but when you're in small scale combat against hard to kill targets like boss mobs or in pvp, where SR isn't popping off +energy like crazy, wouldn't you rather have e-management that wasn't dependent on deaths? Or are you saying, just roll Ele because Necro sucks at that anyways? netniwk

When you get decent at E-management(and use a proper build) energy won't be much of a problem. And Necro's are delicious Imba when it comes to PvE. Necro>elle, but that just my oppinion. Trvth Jvstice
If you're playing with Henchmen, just use whatever build that you enjoy and gets you through the mission/quests. However, later on in the game with more difficult Missions, if you play with a pick up group (pug) they will be critical of any unusual Ele builds. Pugs choose Eles for one reason, high dmg and will probably kick you if you use any Nec skills other than the ones listed by holymasamune.
