rank 1?

Sorry, if I seem really ignorant, but I've never been big on PvP. I wanted to get those Kurzick/Luxon skills (we are a Luxon guild and I know the skills are the same for both) but apparently, you need to be at least rank 1 to purchase them. How many points do you need to give to get rank 1? How can you check how many points you currently have?

To be rank 1 you need to have donated 100000 faction to one side, this is really 50000 faction if you donate it to your alliance. You can check your proress by pressing H and looking for the " Friend of the Luxons/Kurizks Title Trank".

You have to do that yourself

You have to do it personally, but you can do it with any of your characters. The Kurzick/Luxon allegiance titles are tied to your whole account rather than just a single character

What if you gave like 20k faction when Factions first came out? I heard something a while back that it diminishes over time. Is that true, or would my title still show that?

And yes, your title will still show. Factions accrued only decreases when you donate it to the alliance or guild. The alliance or guild's faction decreases, not yours.

When you donate faction to your guild, your guild's faction diminishes over time. This stops larger guilds holding outposts for a longer amount of time.

However, once you donate your faction, it still goes towards your rank without diminishing. This means you can pace yourself in getting to rank 1.

May not be quicker per se, I don't know, I haven't done the research (but it seems to be)...and it's definitely boring. It depends on whether you actually want to "play" or not.

If you Kurzick hfff you get 10k faction every forty minutes or so (fast runner). When you donate faction to a guild, you get double towards your title (20k when you donate 10k). So, in about four hours of hfff with a fast runner, you get 100k faction donated. Understand?

I feel really dumb for asking this, but what is hfff?
