Champion Emotes.

To start off:
Obviously this has been suggested at some point, used search, turned up nothing. Please link to a thread if there was a good reason why it shouldn't be implemented?
Emote Spamming: Champion requires skill. Immediately eliminating 90% of people in the world from chance of getting the emote.
I mean, isnt it just a plain crime that those silly HA'ers get emotes but the ---and im sure more than 70% of the educated gw populous would agree that champion is one of the rare titles that requires true skill--- GvG'ers dont? I mean, im tired of "champion? haha nub I has flasheh deer /rank"
Not to say im encouraging e-peen stroking emote contests.
Besides, theres no way someone with champion would be immature enough to abuse it like the HA'ers do. (since maturity is usually required to get in any guild that can get you champ points)
Just saying.
Thoughts?

I find it more funny with SWay'ers who think they're good because of it...theyre abusing themselves!
You can't see me
E-Peen is E-Peen, and no more of it needs to be added.

Of all titles, Champion is probably the one most deserving of recognition with a flashy little animal for what it's worth - as said in the op, it's the most 'skilled' title.
Meh... but the QQing from Gladiators, Commanders... then from the PvE crowd who want an emote for their oh-so-hard Protector, Vanquisher or Explorer titles ... not worth the headache on ANet's, and the Guru mod's, part (though the lulz in Riverside would be epic)
I guess Champions can sit smugly knowing they're better than 99% of the people who play GW?

You cant see me: Have you ever played with a guild in the top 800? (Hell, top 1500) the type of people you'll meet are far far beyond e-peen stroking.
*EDIT* Didnt want to be too presumptuous about GvG'ers.

/rank was there before titles were implemented so teams could set up more easily. I don't exactly want a /champ or else there would have to be a /koabd, and that'd just get messy.
You won't get the retarded 12 year old PvEr with a champ emote like they do with bambi, but there are still quite a lot of immature people with champ titles.

Just pointing out about how [unfair] it seems that a hero does but a champ doesnt, considering the massive difference in skill requirement. But I guess emotes for titles have been proven as a bad decision regardless, and its best not to encourage the idea? Its still a bit on the fence for me.
@Zahr Dalsk: A example of the QQ'ing we'd get if champs did get emotes?
Randvek
On top of skill, it requires being in a good, heavy GvG guild. Less than 1% of the GW community?
Eh, I don't support it, simply because it would be a limited number of guilds that could use it. For HA, anybody can go get fame, regardless of their guild. The same can't be said of Champion points.
Otherwise, I'd agree. Champ is a very impressive title.

As long as the emote started at r2-3 or so. The last thing I want is b-spikers spamming their new shiny emote trying to boost their e-peen.

On second thought, even though it's a bad idea to have this, I wouldn't mind it if they did implement champion+koabd emotes
I'll get new shiny animals that way!

Better Judgement makes way for want of shiny emotes
/koabd = a shiny gw version of Baxter (ron burgundys dog)?
/champion = a shiny guild lord (or a archer as more of a joke)?
Lol, we could have alot of fun with this.

As for PvE, it has plenty of emotes already: elf, sweetness, beetle, and squash serum to name a few.
newbie_of_doom
However I really hate IWAY-tigers I really don't care to have an emote for champion. And don't get me wrong, I'm on way to getting it atm...
Ye like only the charr will have tigers!!! KWLAGE!!!!
And forms are NOT emotes... lol...

Meh remove the HA ones. It's pretty obvious that Anet originally intended HA to be much more than it turned out to be.
MithranArkanere
Bleh, they should simply make the current Hero emotes check all PvP titles instead of only the Hero.
You can already show the title by selecting it, so the emote it's only for shows.
Instead of adding an emote to every single PvP title, you make it check the media of your titles. The more titles high and the higher the titles, the greater the emote.
Something like a KoBD for PvP.

the 55 warrior?!?
ok well this title dose require skill which as u said takes out 90% of ppl in GW but wat you are forgetting is this ...NOT EVERYBODY LIKES TO HA i mean i absolutly hate RA TA and HA so idk y A.net put a emot on the title that there is only 1 way to obtain
i think that the fame title should have been linked to all pvp arenas and questing and missions for pve

/signed as long as there is only 2 emotes
emote 1=the usual golden circle with the frog inside
emote 2=a purple circle with chuck norris round housing the frog

Hmm not KoBD though cause maxing 5 pvp titles(much less 1) will take forever. There still isn't any maxed Ha titles wich is older then them all if I am not mistaken.(I probably am lol). Maybe KoBD showing you have r1 in atleast 5 then like r2KoBD could be having r3 in 5 dif ones. so on and so forth. Obviously I mean a Pvp Version of KoBD. Anyone can max 5 PvE titles
RavagerOfDreams
why not just get rid of title emotes all together
problem solved

Remove HA emotes, and give them at every rank of Champion, imo.
(i.e. Champ 1 = Deer, Champ 2 = Wolf, Champ 3 = Tiger....)
I would have to say the number of immature people with Champ titles is infinitely less than the number of immature people who Heroway'd to r3.

....nope keep it the same...if you think your better then you don't need an emote, solved.
{IceFire}
So all the champ's are butt hurt that the HA'ers get /rank and they don't?
If you'z all are so much better than the HA'ers then why should you care about an "e-peen" emote?
After all, immaturity=OMGSHINEYEMOTEWIN!!!1!111
Right?

Before passing ignorant judgment, what the argument here is saying is:
HA takes no skill, and its all gimmicks anyway. Lets give emotes to someone that deserves it, and currently the only title that takes some amount of skill to get is Champion.
I mean, giving HA title rank is like giving PvE-ers Minipets
Oh... wait...

Emote and pvp rank shouldnt had been introduced in HA... Dont make the same mistake with GvG. Kthx

FrAnt1c??
Most Champs are Rank 9 anyway, so why giving them an even more exclusive emote? Because let's face it the number of Rank 9+ ppl isn't that large, now ain't it?
But I don't mind giving one to them, I agree that the champion title is the one with the most prestige in PvP, but imo, just having the title showing under your name is nice enough...
