I just want to settle a fact ...

In last week Guild of The Week there was the week of X Legion Of Doom X.

They self-proclaimed being the title holder of the fastest run ever in urgoz...

LOD is a leet guild, I can't deny it ... but for Urgoz sadly for them, they are 2nd!

I went on runs with a guild name Serpents of Death and Disorder [SoDD] ... for people doing urgoz frequently, you know that they are the fastest...

My fastest run in HM with [SoDD] was under 60 minutes, Last week we did 62!

Fastest they did ? 53 Minutes ! I was not on that run sadly

They are the holding the title for the fastest run ever ... or maybe someone else did better but I want a screeny of that :P

I must repy. I was LOD long time before, but that long story. Im proud member of SoDD about a year now.
True, LOD did some nice run. But they far away from holding Urgoz. Its just a fact.

Aaaaahhh Rihanna,
Thank you for setting the record straight, although I'm not sure we are
the fastest. theres always some one younger and faster, somewhere

We do enjoy Urgoz runs though, and when you enjoy something, you get
better at it with time.

Look forward to working with you again soon, although you may have to get
some running spikes on, we beat our Hardmode record last night, its now
45mins !!

I would love to see your best time without consumables

but thats hard because they last 30 min you could use 1 set then act like you used non in screen shot

consumables = God mode (even more then ursan)

I think our best time without consumables in HM is 58 mins back in Aug last
year although I'm pretty sure we can beat that with a little luck.

Its always good to beat our times, but the sheer joy of seeing the whole
team work together flawlessly like a well oiled machine is what I get a
kick out of.
We don't do Urgoz more than once a week these days and usually less but
that's life and we've moved onto other areas for the time being.

well.... hate to break it to you but, i've been on two runs that were pretty great with my guild their sister guild that are rather amazing, one of which only challenges your title, the other which blows it out of the water. the record breaker: http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...la/gw451-1.jpg and the one which contests you and proves that it is a consistancy that we do quick runs like this frequently and it's not just a fluke. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...la/gw450-1.jpg

Before you spread lies and rumors about people you know will always be better than you why don't you get in touch with reality and look at our time in urgoz:

I'm sure you remember a lot of the names on that list.

Now mind you, we do a lot more than urgoz in record time. we do all kinda fun stuff too. but for some bitter reject like you to accuse us of being slow...that is just something we don't stand for.

Gj to SoDD and SmS on very impressive times in Urgoz.

And Rihanna, collect whatever is left of your dignity and run away like a scared school girl. One year of constant plots against us should have taught you that you can never beat us.

Hmm... we had a near wipe but I doubt that would've been enough to shave off a whole 6 minutes were it avoided. Need to find it somehow though.

Anything is easy with Cons, more so with Ursan.

It's not an accomplishment then. It's exactly like the DOA Ursans that rely on Consets to get them through DOA fast.

I'm by no means a purist or an idealist but I know skill when I see it. And skill can rarely be found behind the buffs of Ursan or Consets.

As for Trolling? Maybe I'm a little guilty, but if youre honest with yourself you will agree with me that it take zero skill to Ursan/Conset areas.

it doesn't matter what builds they were using, or how they did it. the fact is they did.

you should stop complaining about ursan because your probably another one of those people that doesn't want to grind for norn points, and you can't get into any groups. i do agree that it doesn't take much brainpower to mash 1,2,3 over and over. but thats part of the reason that it works so well, even bad players make themselves look good with it.

Again, if you think it is so easy why don't you go try it out for yourself and show me how easy it is. Saying it is easy when you have no proof of being able to do it better yourself is a claim nothing short of laughable.

Please, don't start this into an Ursan battle.
I was just a little dissapointed that the fastest time was attained with ursans...I was under the impression it was a balanced team challenge.
Congrats LOD..it doesn't matter that UB was involved, your time is still the 'fastest'.
SMS has the fastest non-Ursan tho..

2.) Fastest time without Ursans in-team.

Whoa there, why do you think people use ursan for doa? uh, DUH! to make the run fast so you make better money!
why use something that would take much longer when you can finish up in the least time possible?

Zero skill to use consets and ursan, I agree, but what about team coordination? Is urgoz made up of 12 ursans running around trying to grab all the aggro they can? No. What about the rest of the team? Youll need a good amount of team coordination to do anything rapidly. See, [LOD] and some other guilds can blaze through elite missions because they, and we, have done them many times, and we work together as a team. Now if you dont think that takes skill, go play with a pug.

This is the same for all missions and all farming aspects of guild wars. The point of it is to make it fast and worth doing. a 2 hour urgoz run is worth nothing, sorry to burst your bubble.

And also, if a crazy ass time in urgoz is not worthy of posting on guru, then tell me what is?

I see that as another option for a challenge and would welcome it as such, and as well lets not turn this into a UB battle, yes it's cheese, but so are most builds once people catch on to them well enough, it's just not usually seen as that until it's brought upon a competitive field.

At this point in the game's life trying to get things done as quickly as possible is the only fun I can really find in PvE. This of course means using every possible resource available to do so; skill bars, consumables, plotting out the best route, anything goes. Others try to clear places using all of one profession, others with limited skillbars, basically some kind of self-imposed handicap. It's what people do to get fun out of the game, and it's nice to see that others can appreciate it as well.

But, I really don't think many could run the builds we had..(NOT being 'elitists')
