In Need of Domination Build!

hi im new to mesmer, and i have a good domination staff, all the skills unlocked, but no build!

if u could plz post a build, template, or pm in game, id be very happy

id pefer a good Energy Surge build, but ill check out any other dom builds

Empathy and Backfire are usually staples to dom mesmers in PvE....well, the people who I've seen run em anyway, I don't run dom, but I run some dodgy Ineptude build.

But it would be smart to put in something to negate spells like Shame, Guilt ect...

If you have NF, Cry of Pain is a strong alternative for both interrupt and a little damage.

Besides the PvE only skills, clumsiness and wandering eye are extremely powerful skills to take since they're AoE. However, if you want to stick with dom, go backfire, empathy, shatter enchantment, power spike, and maybe even spiritual pain if you know you'll encounter spirits.

Unatural Sig is also nice vs spirits. I would get my asuran rank up and bring PI. I don't know why but just seems like it fits nicely into a mesmer since it is a purlple skill(lol don't judge me). Dom is good damage so is PI thats where my thinking was coming from.

All of what they said, plus e-surge and e-burn. Necrosis from NF is a good one to have as well. Let me try and think of what I use most of the time...

I know there's another one skill I use, just can't think of what it is. If you want a rez, switch to monk for Rebirth.

Most Dom skills it seems are cast and forget, which can be useful. Shame and Guilt are good, as well as interrupts, but it takes a little more getting used to.

EDIT: Do you need a build for PvE or PvP? Cuz this one is what I use in PvE. And Ab sometimes. For PvP it needs to be tweaked a little.

I usually bring a build similar to those mentioned, but I useually take Assassin's Promise as my elite. Arcane echo + Ebon Vanguard Assassin support is very nice also.
