Tapestry Shard from Gwen

Ive given her about 20 flowers, the flute and the cape and still no shard....what am I doing wrong?

Good likelihood that you adventured into Lakeside County with someone who HAD given her the stuff. It's glitchy in that kind of way.

Um, the flute is on the ground and it says you picked up the cape. I assume you dropped it on ground too which means she did not take it from you automatically (if she had it would have said so in the same blue text it says she took the flowers) Plus, it looks like she is already wearing the cape.

That means you have a tainted Gwen - you went into the area in a party with someone who had already received the shred so the game thinks you have already completed the sequence and will not give you the shred.

There is no way to get the shred with that character unless you buy it from another player

(if you specifically want this character to have a shred for some reason either remake the character, or make a temp character, get the shred by giving flowers - several people have said you don't need to give her cape or flute - and then choose 2nd prof and send the temp char through searing. Pu the shred in storage and it will be there waiting for your present character when they get to post searing ascalon)
