Rainbow Phoenix size o_O

is it just me or did anet scaled down the size of a lvl20 Rainbow Phoenix? i have a lvl20 hearty rainbow phoenix and i could have swear it was bigger in size a few weeks ago than it is now, soo did anet scaled down the size of ALL pets or just the rainbow phoenix?

not sure, my rainbow is only lvl10 now

Compare the current size with the one from wiki (which has a human player in the same pic for comparison).

Post the pic too.

Problem is, human sizes vary quite a lot, so it may not be a proper indication. Still, worth a try.

in this pix the bird is in front of me and much closer to the camera than i am.


i had to get very close to show the size ratio of the bird.


now if memory serves me right, if the bird and me stays on the same spot, only my head and a little bit of my shoulder would show.

The one on wiki does look a lot bigger than the one shown in your pics. However, it could be an illusion (the one on wiki has its wings spread out, which might by why it looks so huge). It'd be disappointing if it was scaled down, since I liked the bird a lot when it was huge. I'm gonna reconsider getting one now... it's still big, but it's not gigantic, so may not be cooler than a spider (I will get one eventually). Of course, if it hasn't been changed, I'll still think it's too small, so it doesn't matter what happens anymore. Thanks a lot. You've ruined it for me. :P

If someone could make a proper comparison (not entirely sure how it can be done accurately...) then that'd be great.

Yeah, I guess that does look a little smaller than I remember it. Either way, the thing is still big enough to be a frickin' rainbow pterodactyl, not a phoenix. >______>

does the evolution contribute to the pet size at all? u have a hearty one, would a dire one be bigger?

I have a Dire Phoenix, and it looks to be the same size as the Hearty one I had earlier. I don't think its evolution contributes to its size.

....according to your pic it's still VERY BIG by normal pet's standard. You shouldn't worry too much about it. I know I wouldn't.

Maybe your pet is dire/... and the one on wiki is hearty, hearty pets are bigger.

i was gonna try for a dire crocodile but if hearty pets are bigger then i might not bother.

Actually I heard it was the opposite - one of my friends has a dire rainbow phoenix, mine is hearty, and his is much bigger. Even thought of getting rid of the thing to remake him dire...
